GaitAI RehabTrack
Make recovery visible from session to session.
RehabTrack compares movement across rehabilitation sessions to quantify how gait, symmetry, mobility and functional movement change during recovery.

Problem
Patients and therapists often know that movement “looks better,” but lack objective evidence showing where and how recovery occurred.
What GaitAI does
Repeated assessments are aligned into a longitudinal recovery record that highlights improvement, stagnation and unresolved asymmetry.
Who uses it
- Physiotherapy clinics
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Sports rehabilitation
- Neurological rehabilitation
- Orthopedic rehabilitation
What they receive
Example report values — illustrative, not measured performance claims.
Session-over-session deltas show where recovery is progressing and where asymmetry persists, so therapy time is spent on what has not yet resolved. Trends support the therapist's clinical reasoning; they do not replace it.
Why it matters
Transforms recovery from a subjective impression into a visible trajectory — for the therapist planning the next block, and for the patient staying motivated.
Example workflow
- 01Capture a baseline assessment
- 02Run therapy
- 03Reassess at the next session
- 04AI compares sessions
- 05Progress is visualised
- 06Therapist adjusts the plan
Deployment
- Sits on top of WalkScan captures — no extra capture hardware
- Session tagging by date and rehabilitation stage
- Patient-friendly progress views for engagement and retention
- Clinic dashboard across active rehabilitation caseloads
Research basis
Published work is the research foundation for the capabilities this product is built on. That record covers the movement-analysis methods themselves — it is not a validation of this product's outputs, and there is no clinical validation study, accuracy benchmark or trial result behind them.

Claim / capability: 6 published records inform shared platform capabilities this module uses (Gait recognition & biometrics, Pose-based gait analysis). The research does not address this module's application specifically.
Status: Available
Applicability: Shared capabilities such as pose estimation or temporal modelling are used by many modules.
Limitation: A shared-platform relationship is the weakest research link and must not be read as validating this module.

Privacy & responsible use
Designed to support consent-based capture, encrypted transfer, configurable retention and role-based access, with activity logging and skeleton-only processing modes. Deployment requirements depend on the applicable environment, organization and jurisdiction. Privacy-aware architecture does not automatically mean anonymity: pose, gait and trajectories may still carry identifying information. GaitAI outputs are AI-generated movement metrics intended as decision support — they do not diagnose medical conditions and do not replace clinical judgement.
Context & limitations
- Trend quality depends on consistent capture conditions across sessions
- Progress shown is movement progress — pain, confidence and function beyond gait need clinical assessment
- Not a substitute for the therapist's treatment decisions
